Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Network Security Consultant-SASE Engineer Job Description Serves as lead network security architect responsible for supporting development of overall network security architecture. Serves as interface to client IT teams for discovering and assessing current network security environment, developing, and capturing network security design requirements, defining alternatives, and developing target state transformation approach.
This resource will be a subject matter expert in areas such as enterprise networking, network security, IT security and zero trust network access (while not a technician solution engineering role, a background in and/ or understanding of the technology underlying SASE is important.) The resource will need a strong understanding of Cloud Access Security Broker design technologies with experience in design, implementation and support of very large and highly resilient enterprise networks , across multiple vendors. Key experience is with Cisco for the SDWAN network and Palo Alto for the SASE solution. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
Working along with an Network Engineer and will be dedicated full-time to help drive completion of the following key tasks, as directed by the customer:
- Identify and align customer team roles and responsibilities for supporting the project while demonstrating the ability to think strategically and develop/ execute corresponding objectives.
- Review/identify current initiatives and progress related to the transformation initiative.
- Review/identify customer requirements that must be solved for in the future target state. Key focus will be applied to understanding unique/differentiating requirements that can drive determination of one product solution over another.
- Review identity, security, and network connectivity use cases that must be supported including network and security configurations/profiles.
- Review/assess current environments readiness to integrate next generation SASE/SDWAN technologies, specifically current site/branch (by site type) and data center designs.
- Identify gaps in current planning efforts.
- Share SASE/SDWAN playbooks, artifacts and templates used in previous deployments.
- Coach and guide customer architecture and engineering teams on SASE/SDWAN deployment best practices and lessons learned.
- Experience in tunnel protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN.
- Experience in authenticate methodologies, including 2FA, RADIUS, LDAP, AD
Preferred Experience and Attributes
- Knowledge of key market players/ competitors in the software defined networking, zero trust and cybersecurity solution spaces.
- Experience building territory plans, prospecting and bringing in new logos in a competitive market to move the project forward.
- Experience in certificate management
- Strong understanding of Cloud Access Security Broker design technologies.
- Knowledge of SASE, Prisma Access, Zscaler, or other SASE vendor security architectures.
Requirements
- Able to pass background check(s).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5+ Years of experience supporting cyber security, networking, identity management, cloud or SaaS solutions with 3+ years within large enterprise.
- Strong verbal and written communications and the ability to think strategically, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Experience with complex cybersecurity technical products and solutions with a full understanding of the cybersecurity market and relevant business drivers.
- Experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls with Panorama Orchestrator.
- Experience integrating Prisma with CGX SDWAN, or Silver Peak SDWAN, or Velocloud SDWAN.
- Experience integrating Zscaler with CGX SDWAN, or Silver Peak SDWAN, or Velocloud SDWAN.
- Experience configuring and managing policy-based IPsec tunnels.
- Experience analyzing existing digital infrastructure and translating requirements into schematics.
- Skilled in enabling teams to effectively communicate with technical personas, from network operators to executive leadership.
- Experience with NGFW, Firewall- as- a- Service, and Secure Web Gateway design.
- Capabilities in Next Generation Firewall, configuration and deployment.
- Experience with Remote user access technologies.
- Experience with complex security portfolio or platform offerings.

Pay Range*: $80-$85/hr
