The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Group Manager, Data Management and Quantitative Analysis in New York, NY, to Perform data management and quantitative analysis activities including preparing data sets and conducting statistical, financial, and econometric modeling for internal or external clients. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business, Engineering (Any), or a related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Working with financial derivative assets, specifically in the space of valuations; Working with complex financial valuation models used for financial products including private debt, equity, foreign exchange, equity and credit options, convertible debt, interest rate swaps, credit swaps and fx swaps; Using OTC Derivatives including its life cycle, valuation methodologies used, inputs and reference data used for valuations and accounting guidelines; Utilizing Excel and VBA skills and applying knowledge of coding languages including Python; Developing roadmaps, strategies and budgeting processes that improve the performance of a team or department; and Identifying and mitigating control gaps, documenting controls, and developing analytics to improve the operating process and workflow.
