We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Developer with strong SQL experience to join our delivery team. As a PHP SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications and databases that are crucial to our organization’s success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to coding standards and best practices. This role requires a strong foundation in PHP development, SQL experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Web Application Development: Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications and APIs that deliver seamless user experiences.
- HTML/CSS/XML (Intermediate to Advanced)
- JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Backend Development: Implement server-side logic for data processing, authentication, and authorization. Work on server configurations and deploy web applications on appropriate hosting environments.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, prevent SQL injection attacks, and ensure the overall security of web applications.
- Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality and data exchange.
- Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and response times through code optimizations and caching strategies.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation, including system specifications, technical designs, and user guides, to assist team members and end-users.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PHP developer, with strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g Laravel, CodeIgniter) and MySQL databases.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, database design, and optimization.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Primary Location Pay Range: $93,600 – $124,800 per year
