We are looking for an exceptional Associate Finance Manager to support the Retail Network by providing financial leadership, deliver data-based information & analysis, and help drive operational efficiency & profitability. Join our dynamic team and shape the future of our retail network!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and core financial analysis for the growing retail network of Lucid Studios & Service Centers
- Ensure budget and forecasts are based on sound assumptions and analytics, are accurate and submitted on time, and have been appropriately vetted and reviewed by relevant business partners using effective communication materials
- Develop and own pro-forma projections for retail locations including working with operating teams to understand core costs, variable inputs, and risks
- Be responsible for modeling business cases for future retail network expansion
- Demonstrate strong presentational reporting and formulated calculations which influence positive changes to Retail Operations
- Deliver analytical insights to track, optimize, and challenge Retail Operations to support decision making (i.e. Same Store Comparisons, Market Comparisons, etc.)
- Prepare and validate journal entries (accruals & re-classes) and analyze open commitments/purchase orders for accuracy
- Become the SME on proper accounting treatment in Actuals and Forecast of current and future lease obligations under lease accounting standards (ASC 840, ASC 842, IFRS 16)
- Review purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial planning and reporting
- Recognize areas to improve the effectiveness of our financial planning and forecasting activities to streamline and improve processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of relevant and progressive work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Proven technical, quantitative, and critical- thinking skills & high level of independent judgement
- Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Outstanding ability in using Microsoft Office, particularly high proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint
- Financial analysis experience at a Retailer or Automotive – a huge plus
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) – preferred
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $108,000 – $154,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
