Summary
This is a full-time (37.5 hours a week)/11-month position with responsibilities including the design of curriculum content, teaching modules, and instruction for the proposed ADN-RN to BSN program. Online instruction shall be an integral part of this position, as well as updating the curriculum as well as completing the annual evaluation of the program.
In addition, the position is responsible for the retention of students and encouragement toward completion of the program. Faculty are expected to evaluate student performance using a variety of assessment techniques, stay current in the subject through professional development, employ technology and active learning strategies, and participate in college committees and activities. This position requires 25 hours minimum on campus each week.
Nursing Faculty Receive a Presidential supplement in the following amounts:
DNP Faculty: $18,000
MSN Faculty: $14,000
*Supplements are added on top of the annual salary and prorated over 12 months.

Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree preferred
- Graduate Degree in Nursing Required
- Must have a current Florida unrestricted Registered Nursing license (and eligible for compact license for practice in Georgia).
- Must have at least two (2) years paid working experience as a RN
- Two (2) years paid working experience as an educator preferred
- Online teaching experience preferred
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and work independently
- Must have a high standard of professional ethics
