As the Senior Business Manager , Devices and Creativity, you will have the chance to help support and driv e growth through collaborat ing with a wide range of stakeholders across Microsoft ( both cross-function and cross-business ) , to influence the direction and success of CSO and Devices and Creativity worldwide (WW) . Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
Business Program Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 – $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 – $195,000 per year.

Core Responsibilities
Organization Alignment & Health
- Drive cross line of business alignment of the Devices and Creativity Category leadership team at team meetings by structuring agenda with senior stakeholders feedback according to rhytym of business (ROB) demands, following up with notes / actions, and assistance on deliverables.
- Drive cross line of business alignment the full Category team through communications / events / operations planning meetings, ensuring best practice sharing and timely delivery of deliverables to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with broader teams in CSO as well as partner organizations to ensure that we are coordinating and communicating information to the team in time to generate the right level of clarity, energy, and/or activity and that we aren’t overtaxing the team with extraneous meetings, deliverables, and fire drills.
- Drive strategy, organization, and execution of Culture motions to create a healthy team culture, ensuring that the leadership is aligned and transparent with the team about the right actions to continue evolving our group culture.
- Build strategy and workback / content reviews for All Hands, Organization Events (ie. CSO Elevate), and Learning Days, ensuring that content is relevant and aligned to leadership vision and will deliver clarity, energy, and success for the team.
- Build out strategy for team readiness and capability with Learning and development team managing to budget, and communicating effectively with the team.
Partner & Field Events & Communications
- Enrich executive communications – internal & external, to drive thought leadership, culture, and voice of partner influence.
- Drive content strategy for internal events and partner engagements, creating a compelling and impactful event communication strategy and plan, driving clarity and leadership through effective communications.
- Partner with peer teams / organizations to ensure that Devices and Creativity is aligned across overall senior leadership team (SLT) vision and strategy for communications and events.
- Work with partner engagement teams to build the right executive keynote content for our partners, ensuring Microsoft is regarded as a Trusted Advisor and preferred partner.
- Drive strategy and execution for content , timing / workback, and templates for executive presentations and communications, including event recaps, keynotes / partner decks, corporate and field Category newsletters, and other executive delivered communications.
Category OPEX Planning & Monitoring
- Collaborate with Finance Controllers to drive Devices and Creativity discretionary operational expenses (OPEX) as well as vendor and marketing OPEX fiscal year planning with guidance and templates to help the team prioritize their budgets efficiently.
- Develop and deliver on budget monitoring workback and process, communicating to the team for clarity and flagging / assisting with over / under spend issues.
- Drive compliance and efficiencies in vendor sourcing and budgeting.
Vendor Management
- Work with cross line of business v- resource to prioritize their work as they assist with logistics and execution of projects for business support.
- Align design comms v– resource to executive vision and direction for comms and event content and help prioritize all tasks, providing thought leadership and partnership.
- Support procurement teams to ensure contingent staffing and vendor resources are acquired and renewed compliantly.
Strategy and Business Development
- Partner with the Devices and Creativity Category GM on direction of the business, including business development and defining strategic initiatives. Specific projects to be defined and will evolve with the business.
