What you’ll do at Veev
You will provide technical assistance and support to team members with computer systems, hardware, or software issues. You will also help manage the onboarding setup and deployment for new hires and be a point of contact for employees with technical issues – making this a critical and high-visibility role.
On a daily basis, you will work on
- Inventory management
- Network Printers
- Warranty repair management
- Laptop provisioning/de-provisioning
- Employee Onboarding/Exiting
- MacOS & Windows Troubleshooting
- Conference Room Troubleshooting
- Network Core Concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Microsoft 365 (Office Suite, InTune, Project, AzureAD)
- Atlassian Administration
- Okta Administration
- Google Apps For Business
- Command Line/Terminal/Powershell/Bash
- Ticketing System triage
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Specialist
- Previous experience in admin management of SAAS environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and raise support tickets with external providers.
- Good understanding of computer hardware and the ability to optimize employees computers for maximum efficiency.
- Network management expertise.
- Understanding relationships between technology and business operations.
Advantages
- Overseeing enterprise security, including Support security operations.
(procedures/firewalls/patching/LDAP) on all endpoints.
- Supporting compliance standards (data backup and recovery/DRP).
- Promoting IT best practices within the organization.
- Developing best practices and procedures and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Experience with Okta (single sign-on), G Suite, BOX, and Office 365 – advantage.
Compensation
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with the final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location, is $90,000 – $105,000 annually for Hayward, CA, and surrounding areas. This role is also eligible for stock options and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
