To strengthen our team at the Redmond location, we are looking for a Senior Stock Plan Administrator/Paralegal.
Pay:
The pay range for this Washington-based position is $95,000 – 130,000. Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for a new hire equity grant and/or a performance-based equity incentive plan.
Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of our global equity compensation plans and coordinating with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate processing, reporting and disclosure of employee stock transactions. This role will also assist with corporate paralegal tasks as needed. Reporting to the Corporate Associate General Counsel, the ideal candidate will be a results-oriented and service-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the candidate to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
Your responsibilities:
- Administer our equity programs (Stock Options, time and performance-based RSUS) including processing global employee stock transactions within Equity Edge Online (EEO)
- Follow stock administration SOX procedures
- Process or support monthly RSU releases
- Respond to employee equity concerns and resolve equity program inquiries
- Participate in the preparation of the annual proxy filing, including providing and reviewing equity data included in the document
- Prepare and lead the distribution of various annual employee equity statements and employer equity filings
- Assist with equity program communication and employee education
- Prepare monthly reconciliations between EEO and payroll, GL, transfer agent, etc.
- Participate in the conversion and assumption of equity awards as required with M&A
- Ensure regulatory compliance for Section 16 executives and Board members and assist in the preparation of SEC Form filings
- Lead and assist with ad-hoc projects
- Support the legal team with corporate paralegal tasks as needed
Our requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of stock administration experience, as well as experience working as a corporate paralegal
- Intellectually curious with an interest in creative problem-solving and analysis
- Must be a dependable teammate, ready to collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners (i.e., Finance, Legal, HR and external vendors)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, efficiently prioritize tasks and adhere to critical deadlines
- Affinity for customer service, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills
- Confident working with various levels of management and handling highly confidential data
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters related to equity programs and taxation
- Advanced Excel user (i.e., pivot table, xlookup, vlookup, macros)
- Experience with Equity Edge Online (EEO) a plus
MicroVision offers a flexible work schedule that could include a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote work, subject to team and business needs. Individual work schedules will be at the discretion of management and dependent on role and business needs. You must live and reside within commuting distance from MicroVision’s headquarters in Redmond, WA.
