Are you a creative individual with a passion for video production and storytelling? The City of Highland Village is seeking a dynamic Audio/Visual Intern to join our Marketing & Communication team. This internship opportunity offers you the chance to elevate your video production skills while making a meaningful impact in our vibrant community.
As an Audio/Visual intern with the City of Highland Village, you will have the unique opportunity to hone your creative skills in content creation, videography, and video editing. You will be an integral part of our Marketing & Communication team, working on projects that highlight businesses in Highland Village, showcase the services the City provides, and capture the essence of special events through compelling video content.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the Marketing & Communication team to conceptualize, plan, and execute video projects.
– Capture high-quality video footage using both video cameras and DSLR video cameras.
– Edit video content using Adobe Premiere to create engaging and visually appealing videos.
– Write scripts and create storyboards for video projects.
– Interact with the public and conduct interviews as necessary to gather content.
– Assist in various stages of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
– Maintain and organize video equipment and assets.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
– Proficiency in operating video cameras and DSLR video cameras.
– Experience with video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere.
– Strong written communication skills with the ability to script and plan for video content.
– Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with the public professionally.
– A passion for storytelling and creative content creation.
– Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
