Missouri’s Animal Care Facility Program (ACFA) regulates breeders, dealers, boarders, shelters and pet stores to ensure that they meet state standards regarding feed, water, shelter, veterinary care, building maintenance, socialization, identification and recordkeeping requirements. We are currently looking for an energetic, dependable Lead Administrative Support Assistant. JOB TITLE: Lead Administrative Support Assistant
SALARY: $38,160.00 annually (plus full state benefit package)
LOCATION: Jefferson City, Missouri
What You’ll Do:
- Collection, processing, and issuance of licenses issued under the Animal Care Facilities Act (ACFA) and ensuring licensing and administrative functions occur to deadline.
- Interaction with the public daily via phone and email in response to inquiries and complaints.
- Effective communication and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in math computations, grammar, composition, spelling, and typing.
- Understand and communicate the regulatory dynamic of the Animal Care Facilities Act.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) or more years of experience as an Administrative Support Assistant or Office/Clerical field AND possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
