Role: Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX or REMOTE

Job Description: As an Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultant, you will be a part of a team responsible for managing all aspects of the Oracle Cloud support projects. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills, as well as proven track record of application development with skills in Java, distributed cache technology and building scalable robust systems. In return you will have opportunity to gain exposure to designing, developing, and deploying applications to the internal/external cloud.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all Functional aspects of Oracle Cloud support projects:
o Including functionality of the following modules: R2R and A2R – Oracle Cloud General Ledger, Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets, Oracle Cloud Payables, Oracle Cloud Cash Management
o Knowledge on P2P Modules will be added advantage
• Analyze, design and configure best practice business needs through technology solutions.
- Interact with client teams to understand their requirement and design the robust solution.
- Develop an understanding of a client’s current state process and developing future state technical recommendations.
- Executing the day-to-day activities of Oracle ERP Cloud engagements including process design, leading key configuration workshops, identifying Gaps, identify RICEW, and support testing.
- Participation in requirement gathering, analyzing business requirements, aligning business requirements and best practices to support and implement a functional solution.
- Manage Functional project delivery and lead project onsite/offshore technical teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of internal processes and intellectual property.
- Define new and refine existing business processes.
- Participation in project planning, providing subject/technical matter expertise, estimating work, development of proposals and statements of work.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge on conversion areas and map the data from legacy system to Oracle Cloud ERP applications.
Required Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP Financials with a minimum of 1+ full-lifecycle Oracle ERP Cloud implementation experience
- Full life-cycle project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and Roll-out.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Structures, module-specific configurations, ability to do requirement analysis and deliver functional design documents of the mentioned modules.
- Ability to quickly understand the business requirement and to design functional concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS Computer Science or MCA Master of Computer Applications or BE Computer or BE Electronics
- Experience with various cloud, SaaS, and on-premises ERP or EBS
- Oracle Cloud Certification
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $135,000/Year to $174,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
