CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field AND Two (2) years of experience in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field; OR
- An Associate’s Degree from an accredited College or University with major coursework in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field AND Four (4) years of experience in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field; OR
- A High School Diploma AND Six (6) years of experience in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, grasp, push, and pull.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Florida State Guard (FSG) logistics officers in managing the inventory, scheduling of hand receipt holder accounts, and proper and timely oversight of all accountable property records. Assists in managing the accountability of all unit equipment and supplies, develops budgets, purchases new inventory, and maintains an effective supply discipline program.
- Assists FSG in tracking and monitoring all FSG property over 5K in value, as well as attractable items under 5K (Deemed by State Quartermaster and FSG Director) in FLAIR. Responsible for managing tracking system (i.e.Master Excel Spreadsheet) from date of issuing property out, inventory annually, transfers between Directorates, and turn in of Property.
- Issues FSG tags and tracking numbers to each piece of property along with filling out proper DMA documentation.
- Assists in maintaining FSG section of the warehouse, located at the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC). Facilitates the movement and transportation of state property to CBJTC, as well as preparing it for final disposition (Storage, Surplus, etc.) Ensure appropriate tracking and follow-up visits for FSG.
- Assists FSG and DMA in managing and operation of the Activate, Response, Respond, and Operate (ARRO) program.
- Coordinates with staff and regional leaders of FSG in the transferring of property, or the removal of surplus equipment. (Tracking and submittal to property board for approval).
- Assists in establishing FSG accounting of all equipment that requires formal accounting IAW applicable regulations; Ensures the preparation and timely completion of monthly/quarterly sensitive item reports, cyclic/annual, and primary hand receipt inventories; maintains all supporting documents pertaining to assigned FSG property accounts.
- Assist FSG in tracking and Inventory Documentation, to include but not limited to:
- Primary Hand Receipts
- Outbound In-transit Hand Receipts
- Sensitive Items Listings
- Cyclic Listings
- Nonexpendable Hand Receipt (Shortage) Annex
- Filing System
- Property Book Supporting Documents
- Signature Cards
- Appointment orders
- Training certificates
- Suspense Documents
- Maintain and support office operation and administrative activities as required.
- Process correspondence and information in a timely manner.
- Provide customer service to all vendors and guardsmen.
- Prepares for FSG and DMA State Active-Duty (SAD) operations by maintaining proficiency on state purchasing and contracting procedures, to include issuing and closing requests for payment/purchase orders and credit card transactions utilized during SAD. Attends all meetings and briefs leadership on logistics matters concerning SAD.
- Accomplish other FSG and DMA duties as assigned.
