The Amazon Operations team is looking for an innovative Marketing Automation Manager to take on the unique opportunity to help invent and simplify our marketing processes, primarily expanding our email automation framework while up-skilling the broader marketing community across Amazon Operations.
Amazon Operations is seeking a data-driven, organized and passionate Marketing Automation Manager, who can dive deep to improve process efficiency and solve problems for global stakeholders. In this role, the Marketing Automation Manager will take on end-to-end ownership and successfully deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
Key job responsibilities
– Partner with our global Marketing teams to identify automation opportunities in order to reduce the manual emailing effort
– Perform technical project management of the marketing automation deployment cycle, including requirements gathering, design/development, testing, configuration, and advanced administration
– Own and maintain the system/data integrity of our Marketing Automation platform
– Plan and build scalable reporting mechanisms and propose relevant Marketing metrics
– Own the design and development of a robust data model within the marketing automation platform
– Collaborate in developing and continuously optimizing lead scoring and management processes
– Develop standardized processes and programs that allow marketing team members to self-serve in the creation of complex, multi-stage automated marketing programs
– Collaborate with sales operations on enhancing and troubleshooting issues with the lead management process and integrations with marketing automation platforms
A day in the life
– Deliver independently, as the hands-on expert executing our most complex automation needs
– Project manage effectively, managing your own monthly intake process, sprint prioritization and able to tackle competing objectives
– Gather detailed business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (marketing, tech teams, etc.) and collaborate closely to deliver global solutions
– Leverage automation to improve processes and productivity
– Make recommendations to support an organization scaling at rapid pace

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
– Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
