You are applying to be our first Remote Graphic Design Artist!
Portland Leather Goods has an established Graphic Design Team who have a marketing first lens. Your day will never be monotonous as our team tackles everything from digital + print advertisements, emails, product packaging, website assets, and social media campaigns.
You will be working closely with our Director of Graphic Design, Director of Marketing, and our Chief Marketing Officer.
Communication with directions will take place via Slack, Monday Task Manager, Figma, and Zoom. Daily check-ins & weekly meetings will be conducted with the Directors for progress reviews and status updates. Loom Video Recording may be used for direct feedback on projects.
This position on a Freelance basis with a starting rate of $30.00 / hour. We would like you to be able to dedicate 30 or more hours a week to our brand.
YOU MUST PROVIDE A PORTFOLIO/WEBSITE TO BE CONSIDERED
Our ideal candidate
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- BA in Graphic Design or relevant education
- Klaviyo or equivalent email experience
- Lightroom and/or Photo Editing
- 4 Years of Graphic Design experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Monday Task Manager and Dropbox preferred
- Passion for design with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Has “an eye” for composition, typography, applied color theory, and balance.
- Produce creative content for multiple collateral types (digital, print, web, environmental)
- An upbeat can-do attitude, eye for detail, and flexibility
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to work well with other team members
- Open to constructive feedback and a desire to constantly improve
