Your future duties and responsibilities:
Our developers work on a variety of software development, integration, analytics, and other technical projects where they leverage their technical acumen and problem-solving skills to craft creative solutions to complex client challenges using a variety of technologies, tools, and platforms. Your initial focus is integration development for a complex project replacing a client’s core enterprise system with a modern cloud-based solution. Some key aspects of your role are:
• Collaborating with your team members to solve challenging business and technical problems and deliver creative solutions to client needs.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle including scoping, analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery, and support.
• Learn from your peers and from our years of experience through training classes, engineering reviews, and our mentor program to grow in your career and enhance your technical abilities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The following skills are required to succeed in your new role:
• Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field with extensive computer-based or technical focus.
• 2 – 5 years’ professional development experience.
• 2 – 5 years’ experience using relational databases.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience with any ETL platform, with Informatica Power center 9.1 or newer particularly useful.
• Experience with system interface design and implementation, especially with batch interfaces.
The following skills would be additional advantages in your new role:
• Experience using Informatica Designer Components such as Source Analyzer, Target Designer, Transformation Developer, Mapplet and Mapping Designer.
• Experience using transformations such as XML Parser, XML Generator, SQL, filter, router, aggregator, lookup, source qualifier, joiner, union, Sequence generator, and stored procedure.
• Experience using Informatica workflow Components such as Sessions and Command tasks like Email, Assignment, Control, Event Wait, and Decision.
• Experience with Informatica Repository manager like creating deployment groups and deploying Informatica objects from one environment to another.
• Experience with software design principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience with source control repositories and build tools such as Git, TFS, or Maven.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74,600 – $146,900.
