Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking a Reporting Analyst. We are looking for someone with a passion for performing data analysis, data mining, and data science in a professional setting, applying it to some of North America’s largest and most complex Construction & Engineering projects.
As a Reporting Analyst, you will work with business users to understand challenges and build analytics solutions to overcome those challenges. You will gather, extract, restructure, analyze and interpret data, and communicate findings and recommendations to the greater business.
District Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering’s Design Build Management team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs, and minimize risk. Our construction-driven engineers analyze root causes and resolve design issues before they impact schedule and budget. Particularly on large design-build projects, clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and design best practices for all projects that we support.

Location
This position is to be based out of our Lone Tree, CO Campus.
Responsibilities
- Communication – You will work with the stakeholders/Users on a day-to-day basis to ensure clear understanding of requirements and deliver best-practiced technical solution. You will collaborate with your peers to effectively to deliver thoroughly tested technical solution. You will communicate with the team and stakeholder daily to understand the business problem and provide different approaches to the solution.
- Data Modeling – You will be responsible for modeling both structured and unstructured data that allows the team to utilize and provide insights on. You will be expected to do so using the best practices and maintain the data integrity.
- Data Visualization – You will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise level dashboards that meet the specific business needs. They should utilize the best reporting standards to match performance and efficiency.
- Data Presentation – You will be expected to work on a reporting initiative from inception to completion. You will be expected to ask questions to understand more about the business to help in creating a bug-free solution. You will be expected to train stakeholders on how to use decision support tools, and succinctly convey how the solution meet specific business needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field; master’s preferred but not required.
- 3+ years working experience in Data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or similar technology.
- 2+ years of working experience in Database technologies like SQL Server, Teradata, or similar technology.
- Hands-on experience in Snowflake desired, but not required.
- Interest in leveraging data to solve unique and challenging business problems.
Technical Skills
- Database technologies – SQL for MS SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake.
- Data Visualization – Power BI, Tableau.
- Scripting Languages – Python.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Base Compensation: $80,619 – $109,375
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
