POSITION SUMMARY/CLASS DESCRIPTION
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A variety of instructional classes are offered throughout the County such as: creative and dramatic arts, dance, movement, cooking and general children’s recreational classes.

DUTIES:

  • To teach, organize and supervise an instructional class in a specific area of expertise.
  • Oversee use of facilities.
  • Keep records of class attendance.
  • Ensure physical and emotional safety of program participants.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Sufficient skill in a specific area.
  • Ability to develop a teaching plan for a diversified group of people.
  • Ability to demonstrate skills and to communicate directions effectively.

EXPERIENCE: At least two years of experience in specific program area.

EDUCATION: Possess experience and/or formal training of the specific skill.

RATE OF PAY:
Contingent – Professional
Minimum Wage-$32.00 per hour

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
