The global battery production capacities are growing with incredible rates every year. We support this industry to increase quality and volume while reducing scrap, waste, and energy consumption all at once by providing best-in-class control and automation technology. Our special strength is the unification of proven Siemens technology for factory automation with AI based, data driven process optimization platforms. Role Description

  • Identify and evaluate market trends, technical innovations, opportunities and threads in the North American battery industry
  • Hunt for external funding, e.g., government projects and quickly prepare required proposals leveraging own experience and team ideas
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and ensure know how transfer from technology departments into the Battery Accelerator
  • Represent the Battery Accelerator at industry events and conferences, and build a strong network of key stakeholders and influencers within Digital Industries between internal BUs as well as externally outside Siemens

This is what a perfect candidate has to offer as Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in engineering, IT, physics or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in working in a technical role between product and technology teams and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable project milestones
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to navigate in changing environment focusing on critical points with the goal to create impact
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple technical projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in engineering, IT, physics or a related field
  • Work experience in technology and research
  • Project work experience with agile product development teams in high-tech industries

  • The pay range for this position is <$118,500 low – $160,000 high>. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
