iSeries Systems Administrator Needed!
A local engineering firm is looking for a full-time (ERP) System Administrator with iSeries systems experience to join their team! They are the leading manufacturer of specialty construction equipment. As their technology department is growing, they are searching for a system administrator to be responsible for the iSeries architecture, the ERP software and Infor XA.
As a Systems Administrator here, you will update and maintain system menu options, range holder values, templates, and user profiles. Support the development of and maintain and update Infor-associated procedures.
You will also analyze performance of systems and report any trends to management. You will drive (RPG) programming development and maintain existing RPG programming and assist with Windows administration
What Will You Be Doing Daily?
- Provide administrative support, patching and updates to Infor servers.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely fashion.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure maximum system uptime and availability to the users.
- Address user concerns presented via a ticket system.
- Perform development work (programming and configuration) for special projects
- Administer user security and manage licensing and support agreements.
What Do You Need to Be Successful?
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years’ experience in Infor XA experience
RPG ii, iSeries, and SQL experience. - Experience troubleshooting systems and software.
- Have experience with legacy and customized software.
This is a full-time role in Brimfield, IL.
Payrate between $25.00 and $28.00/per hour.
