Job Description
The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking an Assistant Director of Creative Video Content who is responsible for visualizing, producing, shooting, editing and delivering impactful content for Mizzou Athletics. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Working Directly with assigned sports to create content aiding with their marketing, recruiting and social media efforts
- Planning and executing photo/video shoots, support events, and produce content for Mizzou Athletics and other outlets
- Overseeing creative projects from concept to execution, including but not limited to short and long-form content, intro videos, in-game marketing elements, hype videos and more
- Assisting external teams with creative media needs in support of assigned sports, social media, marketing, recruiting, ticket sales and attendance
- Meeting quick turnarounds to post high quality videos on same day that events occur
- Providing insight to push department forward with emerging trends in social, digital media, as well as in-venue entertainment
- Assisting with management and archival of media assets
- Must supply a strong portfolio of previous work creating video
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work closely with student-interns to mentor, train, teach them how to shoot and edit assigned projects
- Ability to clearly communicate project goals to all members of the production team
- Able to work across and within departments to successfully portray the Mizzou Tigers brand
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Salary
Salary Range: $16.23 – $28.25 per hour
Grade: GGS-007
University Title: Media Producer II

Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in video content creation
