Responsibilities
The administrative leader of the Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (OEID), in partnership with the OEID Medical Director, will work across the organization with other departments, committees, and cross-functional and cross-entity teams to plan, organize, coordinate, implement, integrate, monitor, and manage the business and education activities of equity, inclusion, and diversity. The administrator is responsible for guidance, direction, and management of EID staff and is accountable for strategic planning, fiscal management, performance management, and collaboration with institutional and departmental leaders to lead and support strategic and business initiatives.
The Administrator is responsible for ensuring the integration of Mayo Clinic’s mission, philosophy, and core values into their assigned enterprise program. Responsible for administrative guidance, direction, mentoring, and oversight of program staff. Accountable for strategic planning, fiscal management, performance management, and program development. Works collaboratively with the executive office, institutional and departmental leaders to lead and support strategic initiatives and operational delivery related to the Program. Promotes and participates in the continuing process of education regarding the Program across the organization.

This position is a combination of remote and onsite work. The preference is for the indivdual to live within driving distance from the Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN campus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration or related field with seven years’ related experience or Master’s degree in business, health care administration or related field and five years’ related experience required. Related experience includes healthcare management or related industry experience to include people, projects or program required. Operational experience must include demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment with physician, scientist, educator, administrative, supervisory, and allied health staff. Must have demonstrated leadership management (e.g. staff, change, complex issues) and operations competencies. Excellent communication skills required.
