Assistant Manager, Learning Experience (Contract Role)

Job mission
- Support Learning & Development team in coordination and execution of training events (i.e create and deploy pre-arrival intake surveys, ensure timely delivery of printed materials, ensure any props are accounted for)
- Support Instructional Design Team on executing exceptional high quality and impactful training programs, tools and materials (i.e. develop blended learning experiences and training materials in a variety of delivery modalities, build measurement tools assessing reaction to learning, knowledge transfer and application, and impact on ROI/ROE, etc.)
- Support building of learning programs
- Support management of invitations and learner rosters for digital, virtual, and in-person learning experiences
- Maintain a client-centric lens, utilizing Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving
- Utilize PowerPoint, Canva, as well as Articulate to format programs
- Project Management: Ensure timely completion of all development stages, organize work to meet development and launch dates (i.e. Set, track, and communicate goal progress for self and team)
- Execute formal reviews and the piloting of learning content for Learning & Development leadership and business partners
- Build Cross-functional Relationships (i.e consultative relationships with business partners and subject matter experts, develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders across corporate and commercial audiences)
- Clearly and concisely present ideas to internal business partners
- The ideal candidate for this role will love working on training content but also understand the end-to-end vision and be on-site to see these programs in action
Qualifications:
- Experience in Instructional Design or curriculum design
- Strong, elevated writing skills
- Strong experience using development tools including PowerPoint, Canva, Articulate, and Microsoft
- High aesthetic and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and allocate and identify resources as needed.
- Is resourceful and able to work independently as well as collaborate with others.
A Plus:
- Graphic Design or have high aesthetic.
- Adobe Creative Applications
- Experience in the luxury market, a large scale retailor(s), or hospitality, or experience in an accredited educational institution with a personal passion for luxury.
- First-hand design and development experience for the retail environment including product, client experience, leadership, and operations preferred.
- Certifications in Instructional Design, Design Thinking, Kirkpatrick Measurement, or other assessment certifications are a plus.
- Use of Adobe Creative Applications
Expected base salary range: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour.
Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
