City Experiences is seeking a Inbound Sales Manager for our City Experiences operation in Chicago, IL.
Salary Range: $55,000-$62,400 + Commission

The successful Inbound Sales Manager will successfully execute the sales plan for their assigned market segment and sub-segments, maximizing revenue generation from that territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of guest and market needs
- Follow defined sales process to optimize sales efforts
- Ability to sell across all regions with equal effectiveness
- Successfully convert prospects to guests by conducting productive sales calls to inbound calls and RFP’s
- Capacity to handle a high volume of inbound business on a daily basis
- Identifies guest needs and utilize in-depth product knowledge to efficiently close business
- Convincingly presents pricing and value over the phone to increase closing ratio
- Balances company and guest needs to create win/win situations
- Successfully upsells existing guest to higher value items
- Handle objections as they arise and overcome by using vast product knowledge
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule on a weekly basis, including weekend demand
Guest Service:
- Ensure prompt responses to guest inquiries
- High attention to detail, including that complete and accurate product details are communicated to the Food & Beverage (F&B) and Operations team to ensure proper product execution
- Follow up with guest within 24 hours after the cruise to further develop the account and to:
- Thank guest
- Discuss other events
- Obtain cruise feedback
- Set up next meeting
- Rebook for next year
- Get referrals
- Work with Director of Inbound Sales to resolve all guest issues
Administrative:
- Use Salesforce CRM system to effectively plan and manage the activities in the assigned markets
and to track productivity of these sales activities - Use Salesforce CRM & Reservation systems to accurately book and manage reservations and
cruise details - Maintain organization through time management, setting priorities, and accurate paperwork
- Work with Sales Associate to collect payments and keeps accounts receivables up to date
Other:
- Attend applicable meetings as designated or necessary
- Other job duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline related to the work of the position preferred OR Associates
Degree with 1-2 years additional sales experience - Minimum of two (2) years’ total sales experience consisting of at least one (1) year inbound
telephone sales experience - Hospitality experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills required in order to identify and exploit selling opportunities
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM and reservation software
