Are you interested in helping individuals receive the special level of care that meets their needs? If yes, this position is your opportunity to make an impact. The Bureau of HIV, STD, and Hepatitis seeks a highly qualified individual to work as the State Plan Personal Care/AIDS Waiver Liaison.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for administering the day-to-day oversight of the State Plan Personal Care (SPPC)/AIDS Waiver program.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Department of Social Services (DSS), Mo HealthNet Division (MHD), and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the SPPC/AIDS Waiver program.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Serves (CMS) rules, federal, and state laws affecting the SPPC/AIDS Waiver program.
- Provide case managers and case management supervisors with technical assistance, direction, training, and consultation related to the SPPC/AIDS Waiver program. Serve as the statewide SPPC/AIDS Waiver liaison to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with providers and case managers.
- Provide technical assistance to providers to ensure compliance with Missouri Medicaid Audit & Compliance (MMAC) requirements to provide SPPC/AIDS Waiver services.
- Reviews and approves service authorizations and communicates with Wipro to ensure timely and correct processing of approved service authorizations.
- Review and revise the SPPC/AIDS Waiver portion of the Missouri 1915(c) Waiver.
- Research and analyze SPPC/AIDS Waiver program reports for trends in client population, enrollment, cost, and data accuracy.
- Conduct quarterly audits to verify performance measures and program compliance e.g. client eligibility, verification of services provided, and payment accuracy.
- Coordinate 372 Assurance reports, CMS HCBS Transition Plan, and AIDS Waiver application for submission to CMS. Conduct quarterly audits to verify performance measures and program compliance e.g. client eligibility, verification of services provided, and payment accuracy.

- Skills in dealing with diverse individuals and populations in a community. Ability to compile and enter data for reporting purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree
