Job duties:

  • The Administrative Assistant will serve as the assistant to to HR Liaison to handle all HR matters for the Adult Advocacy Division state-wide. This position will also maintain records, assist with various HR procedures, complete all office assignments daily, and assist with the administrative needs of the Adult Advocacy Division.

  • Assist with HR produces to include but not limited to, reviewing and processing personnel actions, on-boarding paperwork, working in On base and other related systems for the Adult Advocacy Division.

  • Maintain a detailed Excel spreadsheet of all vacant and filled positions as well as updated organizational charts statewide.

  • Analyzes incoming mail for content; determines the appropriate staff it should be referred, the action to be taken, and the date it is due; follows up with staff to ensure appropriate actions have been taken; and prepares status reports for review.

  • Assist with recording keeping, filing, answer telephone calls, set up appointments, mailing documents, and maintain daily office functions.

  • Will be required to perform Red Cross shelter/emergency response duties as directed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
A High School Diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.

A Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
