TPM, Forensics & eDiscovery, Enterprise Protection Program Forensics

Amazon Security (AmSec) is seeking a driven, innovative, and results-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Enterprise Protection Program Forensics & Engineering team (EPPFE). EPPFE provides traditional digital forensics and e-discovery sources to internal partners in AmSec, Human Resources, and Amazon Legal.

A successful candidate will have a good mix of technical knowledge, security fundamentals, security response or operations experience, and program management. We are looking for leaders who like to solve problems and remove obstacles. The candidate is one who enjoys working directly with security engineers to understand their scenarios, and design then deliver security systems and solutions that enable them to operate more effectively. You will design and build tooling, drive process improvements and work with other teams and cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. This tooling will primarily support process improvements in data acquisition, forensic data processing, and end-to-end corporate investigations.

You will help influence diverse teams’ roadmaps and effectively balance security outcomes with business requirements. You are able to prioritize well, be proactive in removing roadblocks, and can handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment. You will be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives and be able to help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet your program goals. You will also be able to communicate your projects, results, and impact to engineers, investigators, partners, and leadership.

Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life-both in and outside of work.

Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.
