We are seeking an Inter-Team Resource to join our Buffalo team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality administrative and secretarial support in a timely manner following firm policies and procedures. You will work with attorneys, paralegals and other legal and administrative staff in our various practice areas and administrative departments. You are required to demonstrate an extraordinary level of attention to detail, as well as effective listening and organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in business administration or a related field;
- One year of experience as a secretary/administrative assistant. Legal experience preferred;
- Minimum typing skills of 50 WPM, required;
- Commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered;
- Competent in the full range of computer software related to the position including relevant databases, MSOffice suite;
- Customer focused, able to demonstrate specific instances of extraordinary client service, including identifying and anticipating needs, delivering to expectations and follow through;
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work that is accurate the first time;
- Strong organizational skills that permeate all aspects of work from organizing the physical work space, to filing, to time and deadline management;
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy with people at all levels of the organization;
- Initiative, perseverance and creativity in meeting stated objectives, able to effectively problem-solve around challenges to achieve objectives;
- A high level of dependability in completing assigned tasks and in following through on assignments; and
- Effective in juggling multiple priorities in a team environment in order to ensure timely delivery on all commitments.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo, is $37,479 to $47,970. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
