Job Description:

The Student Health Care Center (SHCC), at the University of Florida, within the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine (CHFM), is seeking a full-time Fiscal Assistant II. As a Fiscal Assistant II, you’ll be responsible for monthly reconciliations, reporting, and review of aging reports. You will also be responsible for communication and training with internal staff on the Universities new travel system UF GO. This includes tracking budgets for travel and professional development expenses for eligible staff. Additionally, you will serve as a backup for coordinating the weekly pharmacy fee schedule and contribute to contract management. Assist with Contract Management between the Student Health Center and UF General Council. Record-keeping in consulting on digitization, storage options, electronic records policies, and the proper disposition of SHCC records, ensuring accurate record retention.

UF GO Transitions:

  • PCard Processing – Verify, Monthly Reconciliation, and Aging.
  • Travel and Personal Reimbursement processing:
    • Process all SHCC travel, professional development – personal reimbursements
    • Process Dues, Memberships, and Subscriptions for SHCC staff.

Maintain and track budgets for staff that qualify for travel:

  • Process professional development expenses.
  • Track the life cycle of all transactions to make sure that license, dues, and memberships are received and paid in a timely manner.
  • Assist with Contract Management between the Student Health Center and UF General Council.

Fiscal office administrative duties:

  • Assist and consults with administrative units on digitization and storage options
    • Electronics records policies and procedures
    • Disposition of university records
    • Assist with Space Allocation reporting when needed.

Expected Salary:

The salary range is between $17.50 to $19.90 per hour, and is commensurate with skills and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience.
