The anticipated salary range for this role is between $77,000.00 and $109,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and seasoned Paid Search Marketing leader with experience growing paid search programs in the financial services space. You will develop and own the Paid Search long-term strategy and partner with our media agency to execute the tactical plan. You will balance priorities and the budget to achieve volume goals within the guardrails of individual product CACs. You will serve as a key driver and partner with internal functions like Legal/Risk/Compliance to develop processes and procedures to meet compliance requirements. The Paid Search Strategist reports into the Head of Growth Marketing. This role will be instrumental in both the initial launch and scaling to the next level of growth.
Role Objectives: Delivery
- Define the Paid Search strategic roadmap in support of key product launches to meet organizational business goals.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to extract actionable insights in support of ongoing optimization, ability to dive into the data and collaborate with data and analytics teams.
- Provide strategic recommendations and execution strategies for keyword and audience opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, ad copy, keywords, landing pages, CTAs, and other levers in accordance with achieving business goals.
- Oversee entirety of Paid Search budgets across products. Forecast revenue and KPI performance on a weekly/monthly basis or as needed.
- Partner with SEO to drive a holistic search marketing approach to extract incremental value and reduce waste.
- Ensure proper tracking is in place, working closely with Analytics and Engineering to implement appropriate tracking mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain a continuous testing agenda to optimize on-going performance.
- Provide stakeholders with regular updates on performance, strategies, and recommendations, work as a subject matter expert presenting to large groups and in one-on-one discussions to ensure that the value of Paid Search is well understood.
- Keep pace with paid search trends and changes, best practices, and developments.
- Assist withstanding up additional paid digital cross-channel programs, such as programmatic display and paid social, as the business requires.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
- 7+ years of marketing experience (preferably in financial services)
- Hands-on experience with paid search platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo!, SA360, Kenshoo, Marin (certification in these areas is a major plus)
- Strong understanding of the interplay between paid search and SEO
- Ability to troubleshoot pixel-based technology to properly identify and QA tags that enable accurate reporting and the success of your channel.
- Excellent project management skills with a history of successfully driving projects to completion.
- Experience in fast paced growth environments and ability to manage multiple projects.
