Position Overview:
Analysts of enterprise resource planning (ERP) help businesses with difficulties related to information technology. They directly assist clients in resolving business-related issues by utilizing package solutions, consulting expertise, and business knowledge. They assess issues and needs, scrutinize operational practices, create business process solutions, create workflow diagrams, and configure/update databases.

In this role, you will:
• Use SAP ERP system to evaluate the situations and offer solutions.
• Accomplish special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management.
• Initiating, overseeing, and supporting ongoing ERP-related projects.
• Assisting users with little supervision, in addressing issues and responding to inquiries.
• Identifying user issues and offering solutions.
• Analyze MRP data to determine optimal safety stock, inventory levels, order quantities, etc. and lead ERP changes accordingly.
• Maintain purchasing related data in the company’s ERP system.
• Assist on Determining root causes of part shortages and implement short term and permanent fixes.
• Assisting on Reconciliation of invoice issues.
• Benchmark “best practices” for ERP use in SCM.
Qualifications – External
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Associate degree in applicable functional discipline
• Minimum of two (4) years of experience in with SAP (supply chain planning & purchasing)
• SAP advanced user with solid knowledge of BOM management, items master setup
• Advanced Excel capabilities
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in Aerospace and Military Plants and/or experience with Engineer to order production or low volume high mix production
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills in complex and demanding situations that undergo continuous priority changes
