OpenX is seeking a Director of Account Management with significant experience in the programmatic supply-side ecosystem. This senior leader will manage OpenX’s North American Account Management team within our Demand Platforms group. This team is responsible for managing OpenX’s tier 1 & 2 DSP partners. The focus of this role will be on driving revenue with existing partners and managing a team of AM’s. This person will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and working to establish best practices and processes for the AM team around uncovering revenue opportunities, optimizing existing accounts, and deepening relationships with top customers.
We are looking for a revenue-led, highly motivated self-starter, who is both a strong hands-on contributor and has a track record of success with managing best-in-class Account Management or Customer Success teams in the programmatic space. This role will report into the SVP of Publisher & Demand Platforms and will be highly visible within the OpenX organization and collaborating closely with the Exec team.
Responsibilities:
– Drive and own revenue targets & strategic goals with existing DSP partners by identifying & implementing revenue growth opportunities through intricate knowledge of DSPs’ business needs and data analysis.
– Work closely with SVP, Publisher & Demand Platforms and product to manage and navigate ongoing revenue and industry projects like IAB video changes, cookie-less solutions, political advertising, ad-podding, multi-bidding, and more
– Manage the DSP AM team and conduct weekly 1:1’s and team meetings, lead career mapping and development conversations, and have performance and compensation reviews with direct reports
– Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Publisher Development, Buyer Development, Product, Marketing, and Operations in order to drive business outcomes across OpenX clients.
– Help grow and build OpenX’s CTV business and positioning through account plans, customer touchpoints, and establishing CTV best practices
– Be in-market and maintain strong relationships with top customers and gather intel and competitive feedback to shape OpenX’s company strategy and product roadmap
– Partner closely with OpenX’s VP, DSP Strategic Relationships on top accounts to identify opportunities for revenue growth
– Maintain a deep working knowledge of the OpenX platform and product suite to better guide the AM team and partners in best practices
– Provide Exec updates on revenue pacing and overall strategy in leadership meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– 7-10 years experience in demand-side programmatic account management or customer success roles and team management
– Deep experience at a DSP in a monetization/yield management
– Proactive, self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running and be a strong contributor day to day
– Has contacts and relationships at leading publishers in the US
– Proven ability to deliver against revenue goals
– Excellent client manner, experience building relationships, overcoming challenging issues in positive ways, and interacting effectively internally and externally
– Excellent working knowledge of integrations including Prebid, oRTB, Google OB, Amazon TAM, and more
$146,111 – $171,895 a year

OpenX is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in New York, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, the salary range is $146,111 to $ 171,895 per year + bonus + equity + benefits.
