Product Marketer, Communications Programs, Selling Partner Trust

We’re looking for a Product Marketer to establish best practices across channels and to launch new channels, with the broader goal of driving engagement among businesses with our team’s Account Health experiences.

The Selling Partner Empowerment, Communities and Trust (SPECT) team works to create a trusted shopping experience and protect customers, brands, selling partners and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse.

Within this broader organization, the Selling Partner Trust team innovates to refine and launch services and products that help businesses engage with these efforts, ensuring that businesses are selling their products in Amazon’s store in a way that meets Amazon’s high standards.

These products and services make tangible, meaningful impacts on businesses’ operations and customers’ experience every day. As a Product Marketer, you will work closely across many teams, globally, to: understand what day-to-day channels are available and identify opportunities for new channels; understand and develop best practices around channel frequency, sequencing, data collection, and messaging that are unique to different communication types; and generally ensure that how and where we reach businesses with our campaigns is impactful, engaging, and efficient.

Key job responsibilities

– Develop an in-depth knowledge of customer behaviors in relationship to different channels and communication content types

– Drive creation and internal adoption of channel best practices for specific types of communication categories

– Develop guidelines on channel strategy, starting with existing channels and extending to identification and launch of new channels, to drive efficient engagement with our messaging among different segments

– Work with partner and tech teams to recommend and develop product capabilities as needed to ensure execution of these best practices

– Develop frameworks, stakeholder management, and measurement methodologies to enable effective prioritization of initiatives

– Develop reports and share information and progress with peers and leaders, problem solving and escalating issues as needed

– Work across the Communications Program team to launch campaigns or experiments

A day in the life

The nature of your day-to-day will evolve depending on where we are in the lifecycle of an initiative. You may spend your day focused on reviewing customer insights with partners, ideating around new experiments, gathering data to form hypotheses and designs, investigating new capabilities and stakeholder needs, and putting ideas down on paper to share with senior leaders. Other days may also be more focused on stakeholder management and project management, sharing information, and managing updates to senior leaders. Finally, other days may be more focused on team building or on career and personal development (offsites, training, and mentoring).
