Temporary Position 12-15 Months
Incumbent will be responsible for conducting client intakes and data entry for people seeking financial assistance for the Farm & Food Worker Project. This position will include screening clients, obtaining required documentation to demonstrate program eligibility, entering client information into the Aeyon System, preparing spreadsheet for client payments, outreach to community, and working collaboratively with FWC staff & FFWR community partners.
Responsibilities
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track all incoming calls and voicemails; return calls within the program-required timeframe; provide information regarding FWC-FFWR Program, including eligibility and documentation requirements.
- Ensure coverage of FFWR appointments as scheduled.
- Respond to phone inquiries in a timely manner, and set up appointments
- Screen interested households to determine program eligibility.
- Conduct outreach events in order to connect with local community for FFWR applications, as needed.
- Enter FFWR client information into database for screening for fraud & duplications.
- Ensure contract compliance, particularly in regards to obtaining documentation demonstrating client eligibility.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of household information in compliance with related policies and procedures.
- Set up and maintain client hard copy files.
- Prepare Excel spreadsheet for processing FFWR client payments with CCS accounting.
- Prepare and participate in FFWR monitoring meetings for audit requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
- 1 year of direct experience or volunteer work with migrant Indigenous/Latinx community in a professional setting OR 5+ years lived experience with Indigenous/Latinx community.
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Windows-based applications. Ability to use multiple data bases and spreadsheets.
- Strong communication (verbally & written), interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team model.
- Committed to the principles of divergent cultures.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.

- Current WA State Driver’s License & proof of current automobile insurance
- Criminal History Background Checks are required prior to employment.
