Additional Information About the Role

The Senior Executive Communications Consultant helps to advance BJC’s brand and objectives by developing concise and impactful internal and external communications that reflect our brand, values and the distinctive voice of executive leadership. A member of the BJC Marketing & Communications team, the person in this role helps to create and execute on a multi-channel, integrated communications strategy, collaborating across the organization to identify the opportunities to raise BJC’s profile locally and nationally, while engaging and building trust with internal audiences. Areas of significant work include presentation development, ghost writing, social media, speech-writing and messaging.

Hybrid position, candidates should be located in the Greater St. Louis area.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Executes and delivers upon the strategy for the executive communications program. Provides consultation and guidance to members of the BJC executive leadership team to advance their visibility and promote them as engaging, caring and credible leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Writes crisp and captivating content for both internal and external audiences, including speeches, presentations for employee meetings, memos, by-lined articles, blog posts, and industry panel discussions.
  • Contributes to the BJC thought leadership program, positioning leaders to offer a unique and credible perspective on topics relevant to consumers using traditional and social media.
  • Effectively collaborates with counterparts in Media Relations, Digital Marketing, Employee Communications and other areas across the company.
