What will you be doing in your role?
- You will use the Leadership, Management & Accountability framework with the R&P team. This will result in knowledgeable and engaged staff members who are able to identify and assist clients in the removal of barriers to self-sufficiency and cultural adjustment.
- You will ensure staff are given the tools, training, supervision, and resources to facilitate clients’ early self-sufficiency.
- You will link clients with resources to meet needs regarding navigating the medical/health system, applying for public benefits, resolving emergencies, and engaging in cultural orientation as needed.
- You will monitor provision of services to ensure that all Refugee Reception & Placement clients receive necessary core services and support.
- You will maintain a client caseload (of 50% of the CM: Client ratio)
- You will work with the Program Manager to evaluate staff performance to ensure compliance with all expectations and standards of practice.
- You will, in conjunction with the Program Manager, coordinate workflow and workload assignments.
- You will work closely with the Program Manager to develop, monitor, and evaluate all program work plans, outputs and outcomes to ensure goals are met.
- You will work closely with the Program Manager to assist in monitoring casefiles for necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funder requirements and agency quality assurance standards.
- You will work closely with the Program Manager to monitor program revenues and control program expenditures to ensure accountability and operation within established budget.
- You will cultivate positive relationships with service providers/agencies in support of client access to their benefits, services, or programs.
Are you the next R&P Supervisor?
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, or a combination of education and experience. Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience and/or familiarity with refugee populations and their needs.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft.
- Reliable transportation to carry out job functions.
- Bilingual in a current refugee language is a plus.
