About the Conversational Commerce Team
The Conversational Commerce team is focused on new value propositions that reimagine how families simplify their shopping routines and reduce the work associated with shopping. We’re building a differentiated customer experience for Walmart customers with the goal of deeply enhancing the retail relationship and optimizing it for the digital world. About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join the Text to Shop team that will lead personalization efforts and develop new features to anticipate our customers’ needs. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and design partners to develop infrastructure and build features that make customers more efficient in their daily lives. As a Staff Product Manager, you will set the vision for this space, solve complex technical challenges, drive key business metrics, and help define the strategy for our product. To be successful in this role, you must be customer focused, comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity, able to influence key partners to drive initiatives forward, and be a self-starter that is able to operate independently.
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive the product roadmap for personalization and customer outreach initiatives
- Work with cross-functional leaders to shape product goals and define success for the team
- Regularly communicate in both written and verbal form to leadership and cross-functional teams regarding project progress and key developments
- Navigate the day-to-day challenges of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team in an emerging space, while simultaneous balancing the communication needs, stakeholder management, and financial goals of a Fortune One company
- Act as internal ambassador for our experiences, creating awareness and excitement around our product and the customer value it drives
- Conduct customer research and translate customer needs into priorities for your workstreams
- Partner with engineering and design to reimagine existing ecommerce patterns and create a best-in-class customer experiences
- Take a data driven approach to understanding and communicating product status and impact to customers, stakeholders, and leaders
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA or advanced graduate degree is a plus
- 6+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years spent working on consumer-facing products
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Superb writing skills and ability to communicate ideas and concepts to stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products on tight deadlines
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop project business cases, and measure success
- Know how to inspire, motivate, and support a team to get things done
- Experience working with Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Large Language Models (LLMs), and/or Generative AI is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $116,900.00-$217,100.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
