We’re seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Program Manager to help develop and execute the promotions strategy for Non-Food and Alcohol Products within Amazon Fresh. The ideal candidate is a data-driven self-starter who can utilize strong analytical skills to produce the best promotion strategy, bringing customers the right value at the right time. The candidate should be organized, being able to own and innovate complex processes from end to end that impact multiple cross functional teams. This role will also support internal teams with the development and maintenance for internal tools.
The Senior Promotions Program Manager will work with multiple stakeholders including category, marketing, and product teams. You will own the end to end promotions process for Non-Food and Alcohol products. You will also be responsible for the overall promotions strategy; owning conceptualizing, aligning, and coordinating execution. This role will require the candidate to think strategically and manage large budgets to bring customers value while improving the business. In this role you will also have exposure to new technologies, acting as the point of contact to support tool development.
Amazon Fresh is a new grocery store designed from the ground up to offer a seamless grocery shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in store or online. We’ve taken our decades of operations experience to deliver consistently low prices for all and FREE, same-day delivery for Prime members. Customers will find a wide assortment of national brands and high-quality produce, meat, and seafood; plus our culinary team offers customers a range of delicious prepared foods made fresh in store, every day. We’ve also introduced new ways to make grocery shopping more convenient, including the Amazon Dash Cart, which enables customers to skip the checkout line, and new Alexa features to help customers manage their shopping lists and better navigate our aisles.
Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and maintain the promotions process for Non-Food and Alcohol products at Amazon Fresh.
• Own the conceptualization of the promotional strategy for Non-Food and Alcohol products. Including tracking and deploying the promotional budget.
• Support tool development, including executional and reporting tools.
• Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for innovation and simplification in planograms and merchandising.
• Act as the ‘business owner’, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines.
• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed goals. Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and be excited to join an ambitious team.
• Set goals for the categories.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
– 5+ Years of program, product, or project management experience.
– Experience in FMCG and Retail industry
– 3+ years in Marketing or vendor management functions
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Grocery/brick and mortar experience
– Experience owning budgets and budget deployment
– Experiencing driving deal strategy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
– Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
