We’re looking for the next generation of talent – innovative students just like you – for our 10-week internship program that will run June 3, 2024 – August 9, 2024. We want every member of our team to not only work hard but have fun while doing so. Here, you’ll be working with a successful, stable company that is a market leader in innovative financial services technology.
This position will be full-time hours (40 hours per week) working in a small, versatile, and friendly team. It will be worked out Jack Henry’s Springfield, Missouri office.
This opportunity’s work hours will be 8 AM – 5 PM Central Standard Time, with a one hour lunch break. The pay is $22.00/hourly (benefits are not included).
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Monitoring and remediating basic Service Now monitoring tickets for Gladiator Customers while receiving direction and feedback from senior-level Engineers on the team.
• Through training, the chosen candidate will eventually be responsible for self-managing the Service Now tickets.
• Troubleshooting issues with basic server, router, switch, and networking equipment. Both physical and virtual.
• Independently performing troubleshooting, resolution, and problem analysis.
• Maintaining in-depth documentation of activities and configurations.
What You’ll Need to Have:
• Must have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree graduation date between December 2024-May 2026.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Management Systems.
• Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship with minimum absences.
• Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time without any sponsorship.
What Would Be Nice for You Have:
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Strong knowledge of virtual server environments.
• Basic project management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Basic understanding, or willingness to learn, about the FinTech industry.
