Job Description & Requirements
The LAPS coordinators must be able to handle all types of production, from full feature and TV production to music videos, commercials, man-on-the-street interviews, event press junkets, photo shoots and publicity shoots anywhere on UNIVERSAL STUDIOS property.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for onsite execution of events and production.
- Responsible for park ops communication prior to each production/event.
- Staff USH personnel to assist production (ex.: security, characters, park services, etc.)
- Provide communication for any type of an emergency during an event.
- Support management with Marketing, PR, VIP and LAPS projects.
- Liaison between USH and production during film shoots.
- Assist in coordination of production’s movements while on site during film shoot (access to property, parking, cabling, crowd control, signage, camera positions, lights positioning, set building, etc.)
- Brief and guide USH staff and security during film shoots.
- During filming: work with production to keep location in a safe and orderly condition.
- Communicate with USH management to make sure all USH guidelines are followed (ex.: presentation guidelines, guest control, parking, Health and Safety, etc.)
- Wrap location. LAPS will ensure that all locations are left in the same condition as when production began.

- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.

- Works well in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of production experience within the television/film industry, or relevant combination of education and experience.
- Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
The pay rate for this role is $25.00
