Benefit Program Senior Specialist
UI Tax – Employer Accounts Unit / Collections

Annual Salary Range: $45,929 – $48,329

What you will do:
- Provide immediate technical assistance to Benefit Program Specialists.
- Provide guidance and training to Specialists engaged in all aspects of collections, garnishments, judgments and liens.
- Process work items which require comprehensive knowledge of UI law and procedures.
- Exercise independent judgment and initiative within the framework of established laws, policies, and procedures.
- Review and update manuals as necessary.
- Special projects as assigned.
All you need for success:
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study and 1 year of relevant experience.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

- Possess advanced knowledge of DES statutes, regulations, processes and procedures relating to collections, garnishments, and liens.
- Ability to be well organized, has attention to detail, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently within the scope of assigned duties.

- Willingness to assist team members and accept additional assignments willingly.
