We are looking for:
- Distribution Manager – Industrial Process Solutions
- Responsible for managing and developing the assigned distributors / accounts in North America
- Develop, manage and monitor the account strategy and take appropriate action as necessary to ensure profitable and sustainable growth
- Develop and grow the customer intimacy and high level relationships necessary to deliver the financial targets for the account (s) in line with the IPS Market Roadmap. This will include the achievement of regional KPIs such as contribution margin, top line revenue, margin percent, customer payments, forecast accuracy, innovation growth targets and customer satisfaction
- In alignment with R&D, will drive innovation and facilitate product launches at assigned accounts
We count on you for:
- Define, establish, implement and monitor Account Plans, including demand forecasts for assigned accounts
- Track actual financial performance against targets; identify potential gaps, and define corrective actions
- Drive long-term customer relationships, customer intimacy, and customer satisfaction at high and multiple levels within the customer organization. Improve Net Promoter Score
- Lead and coordinate effective contract negotiations when needed
- Implement account strategies (4 Ps – Pricing, Product, Promotional and Distribution) to ensure sustainable growth
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities, assess customer needs and potential, propose a business development and action plan
- Produce accurate opportunities lists and forecasts
- Support both global innovation programs and product optimization linked to account plans
- Support and facilitate product launches with other relevant functions and coordinate with internal functions
- Maintain updated information about the customers and competitors within assigned perimeter and provide regularly local marketing information to Regional Market Director and Marketing Team
You will bring:
- BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business or Marketing. MBA a plus
- Minimum of 5 years commercial experience preferable in segments such as MetalWorking, Metal Treatment , Water Treatment and Lubricants
- Experience selling or marketing surfactants or specialty additives to large Industrial accounts is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM Sales Force, Excel and Google platform
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mobilize and influence internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to build account plans, enlist others and get others to rally around agreed targets
- Demonstrable record of building strong relationships based on effective communications and collaboration with external customers
- Track record of driving innovation and facilitating new product programs/launches
You will get:
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $115,000.00 to $145,000.00. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives
