IAT Insurance Group has an immediate need for a Senior Manager, Vendor Management Services that can report to one of the following locations:
- Cheshire, Connecticut
- Alpharetta, Georgia
- Naperville, Illinois
- Rolling Meadows, Illinois
- Raleigh, North Carolina
This role will be tasked with advancing and maintaining the initiatives of Vendor Management and IAT Claims while being involved in all efforts of vendor management and procurement throughout the department. Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual SLA’s and KPIs and hold vendors accountable for delivery.
- Engages with stakeholders to collect feedback on claims processes to improve quality, compliance, and customer experience.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop vendor strategy and responsible for execution of the strategy.
- Develop and lead RFP with vendors.
- Evaluate potential new and existing vendors and provides recommendations on potential engagement.
- Escalation path to resolve problems and create solutions regarding vendors performance/issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have:
- Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of relevant Vendor Management/Procurement experience or equivalent
- 10+ years relevant experience including vendor management, procurement and/or claims handling.
- Strong skills in project work and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact effectively at various levels within company and with external partners
- Superior negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer literacy with background/knowledge of e-billing, etc. (audit systems, claims management systems and MS office – word, excel, etc )
- Ability to work independently – in a collaborative manner, and as part of team
Preferred to have:
- Experience with P&C insurance processes and procedures

Compensation:
Please note, the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $103,320 – $163,225. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for this position. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit sharing opportunities and more. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate qualifications, skills, and competencies related to this specific role.
