We are seeking an innovative, data-driven, result-oriented Integrated Marketing Communications Leader to pioneer and scale a high impact strategy, which will help drive the next phase of Amazon’s growth on the store for underserved and small businesses. You will build, lead, and execute the Go to Market strategy and approach while growing and shaping a marketing team. This is a full funnel marketing role responsible to drive growth through all customers touchpoints from partner co-marketing (e.g. Amazon store, , partner ad campaigns, Pan Amazon partners), through to Amazon channels, leveraging new onramps to drive selling partners GMS, shopping and lifecycle engagement.
The right candidate has successful experience in results-driven marketing, an unbridled passion for data, strategy, an entrepreneurial spirit with strong brand marketing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. They will demonstrate ability to balance customer research, data analysis, strategic leadership, project and senior stakeholder management. They have experience working for a consumer facing tech company, leading cross-functional marketing initiatives in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, balancing long-term vision with the ability to execute tactical details in a fast growing space.
Key job responsibilities
Develop Go to Market growth plan including strategy, approach, and x-functional marketing plan for a new vertical that will reach, acquire, and engage underpenetrated customer segments.
* Synthesize customer research and insights, business metrics, and understanding of the partner to define key inputs and hypothesis that guide innovation.
* Drive customer demand by launching performance marketing driven programs on owned channels, and for influencing partner marketing on paid and owned channels, and through touchpoints managed by partner teams.
* Establishing an ‘always on’ structured testing approach to rapidly build learnings and inform future programs.
* Own growth KPIs; develop metrics and measurements to determine campaign effectiveness, including partnering with technical teams to implement performance measurement, attribution and channel optimization as inputs to business goals.
* Grow and manage a team of Digital, Strategic Accounts, Product Marketers and Partner Marketing Managers, developing mechanisms for efficient strategic planning and operationalizing mechanisms to automate manual process.
* Partner with a cross-disciplinary team of Product Managers, BD/Account Managers, Finance/Data Science, and peer marketing teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategy, timely management of blocking issues, and support across team to meet timelines.
* Research customer benefits, barriers, and drivers, using them to define our product value proposition and create a messaging framework that amplifies customer benefits and overcomes key barriers.
* Maintain a shared marketing calendar to ensure updates are effectively communicated and all cross-functional teams have visibility into upcoming campaigns and initiatives.

The Black Business Accelerator and Small Business team work to help seller partners and customers discover the best of Amazon using data and insights to invent, test, and scale strategies that drive financial and perception goals. We invent to help new-to and existing Amazon seller partners and customers shopping experience on the Amazon store. We understand there are systemic barriers that have limited the education and access for underserved business to grow and scale within Amazon. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience analyzing data quantitatively and using customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identifying opportunities, and assessing the efficacy of marketing programs
– Experience in leadership roles, overseeing teams conducting data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
– Experience in digital marketing with relevant experience including developing consumer marketing strategies and programs in digital marketing and/or partner marketing space.
– Success in integrated campaign management, customer acquisition, promotions, marketing, and/or product marketing.
– Independence, flexibility, and ability to handle ambiguity with willingness to roll up your sleeves and work hands on.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– MBA
– Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
– * Proven success managing time previous experience managing multiple projects in high growth environments, cross functional organization.
– * Experience with subscription business, consumer products, media and/or e-commerce.
– * Experience working in a global matrix organization.
– * Experience working with cross-functional international teams during problem resolution.
– * Experience in or professional knowledge of at least one of the following industries or functions: retail, mobile, high-tech, internet, digital advertising, payments.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
