We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to join our regulatory operations team. As part of the team, you will own the strategy, design and operation of key mechanisms, processes and programs enabling our team to effectively track, manage and respond to our global regulatory obligations at scale.
Our team solves complex compliance challenges, dives deep into compliance requirements for both AWS and our customers, improves processes, and drives greater efficiencies in meeting expectations. This role facilitates our ability to grow and scale our internal compliance processes and mechanisms to meet the compliance and regulatory expectations in the global market.
You should be an experienced PM who ability to understand IT and compliance processes, quickly triage and respond to incoming issues, evaluate opportunities for improvement, and drive innovative mechanisms across multiple teams/programs.
Key job responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders.
Execute and drive the program/project delivery, execution, and adoption across multiple organizations and teams
Collaborate with program stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs
Build and maintain integrated reporting for areas of responsibility
Evaluating the efficacy of regulatory program activities and leading improvements to enable delivery at scale
Anticipating bottlenecks and provide escalation management (evaluating trade-offs, dependencies across teams, and making recommendations to stakeholders/leadership while balancing the business needs/commitments with technical constraints)
Setting and embodying team culture and the quality bar, driving cross-team alignment by negotiating and resolving conflict smoothly with our without formal authority
Managing emergent tasks against multiple shifting priorities, mitigating risks, and eliminating blockers
Operate a quality rhythm of the business, continuously coordinating and driving adoption of improvement efforts to manage regulatory expectations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
