Sr. Product Manager-Tech, Print On Demand

We are looking for an experienced senior PM-T to lead product strategy and build our end-to-end manufacturing accounting roadmap. You’ll partner closely with both technical and non-technical partners including user experience, software development, operations, accounting, payments, procurement, and product management. You’ll have to be to a self-starter who’s comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll need strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent product management, problem solving and communication skills and be able to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate will be at ease dealing with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, be motivated by a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives while staying on top of tactical execution, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

Key job responsibilities

-Define the problem(s) we are trying to solve, desired customer experience, vision, tenets, and product -strategy.

-Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences. Write narratives, PR/FAQs, and other strategic documents.

-Define the feature sets (functional and UX requirements), business requirements, measures of success

-Drive complex business analysis to analyze and scope new opportunities

-Create buy-in for your vision both internally and with key partners

-Drive decisions to deliver your roadmap and prioritize operational excellence work alongside feature delivery

-Manage and communicate multi-pronged schedule of progressive deliverables

-Own and manage the roadmap and backlog of features and improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree

– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

– Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

– Ability to think both strategically and tactically; equally comfortable with long term planning and day to day progress tracking and execution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Master’s degree

– Experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
