Principal Technical Program Manager, Traffic Measurement

The AWS Marketing team is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to driving the email marketing tech roadmap impacting customer growth and revenue. The Principal TPM also works cross-functionally with technology teams across AWS Marketing and 3rd party vendor engineering teams to track dependencies and drive development. The Principal TPM contributes to facilitating on-time and quality email technology roadmap delivery. By innovating processes, this role aims to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. The Principal TPM owns communication with the internal organization’s and cross-team leadership, providing timely project updates and escalating critical issues when needed. Additionally, the Principal TPM fosters seamless project execution, ensuring business continuity and delivery of key overall organizational goals.

Key job responsibilities

In this technical role, you will dive deep to drive the technical roadmap for email.
• Manage technology programs with broad cross-organizational and/or cross-business impact. Define requirements, negotiate priorities, and deliver the solutions and mechanisms.
• Produce written and verbal communication on technology choices, trade-offs, and potential solutions to leaders and drive alignment.

* You will have responsibility through the full program life cycle, from strategy, prioritization and implementation to adoption and iteration with customers

About the team

In this role, you will work in a cross-functional team, partnering with engineers, software development managers, technical product managers, business intelligence analysts, and leadership to delivery an email technology roadmap that offers new capabilities for customers and marketers. You will participate in agile development ceremonies, driving continuous improvement from a program management perspective.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

– 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

– 7+ years of technical program management experience

– 5+ years of software development experience

– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market.
