We are looking for a creative, passionate, and innovative Senior Product Manager who will guide global omni-channel seasonal product strategies.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving a holistic, cross-category product assortment strategy that can serve the needs of global regions, key wholesale account unique needs, channel extensions, and Stanley’s overall strategic objectives. You will lead brand intent through seasonal product concepts and placements, bringing the Stanley DNA to life during relevant consumer and commercial moments.

You will work closely within a growing Product team that are passionate about delivering consumer-driven product experiences that align with Stanley’s integrity, performance, and innovation promise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads global omni-channel seasonal product strategies.
  • Works across regions, functions, and key distribution channels/accounts to envision cross-category collections, seasonal market timings, and channel/consumer-driven creative briefs.
  • Generates presentation assets and communicates seasonal assortments at an internal and external ‘top-to-top’ level to drive brand leadership and product adoption.
  • Uses creative brand insights and commercial data analytics to inform seasonal product strategies.
    Oversees Product Line Administration for Seasonal Programs (people manager).
  • Builds compelling cross-category seasonal product assortment strategy for the full scope of our business.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of relevant consumer and commercial moments and translates those into brand-right concepts and assortments, connecting Stanley’s wild imagination with consumer culture.
  • Leads brand and business evolution through assortment insights, both data and trend driven.
  • Aligns global seasonal product line plans with brand strategy, new product launches and category priorities, and financial targets for the Stanley Brand.
  • Works across functions to manage season product financials, including informed forecasts, revenue projections, and margin targets.
  • Integrates business performance metrics, channel/account game plans, marketplace analysis, annual creative direction, and consumer insights into planning for seasonal products.
  • Conducts and applies market and consumer research, insights projects, and analyses at a regional level to inform market opportunities, consumer preferences, critical business/product decision making.
  • Briefs and develops holistic concepts to inspire color/print design capsules, marketing stories, and merchandising moments for digital and retail presentation.
  • Creates cohesive brand impressions for consumers, intersecting across 6 Stanley marketing seasons and countless other account/channel/region specific timings.
  • Leads the creation and socialization of tools and process for communicating across functions internally and externally, providing clarity of product assortments through tactical and visual tools.
  • Oversees and manages a team of individual contributors, helping direct reports contribute meaningfully and develop professionally at Stanley.
  • Positively represents the brand to external partners including key accounts, partners/affiliates, brands, and suppliers. Responsible for product assortment visual presentations, high visibility communications, and visionary presentation product.
  • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the customer – is highly integrated with the commercial requirements and needs globally – at a regional, channel, and key account level. Partners closely with the Commercial, Regional, and Planning Teams.
  • Seeks opportunities and can envision as well as collaborate with management to evolve current processes.

Who You Are:

  • Deep experience in product line management, product briefing & creation, pricing, and product marketing positioning -a key resource for the Product Management Team.
  • Significant experience directing and coordinating creative work, comfortable partnering with product creation teams to meet informed needs for color, graphic design, and trend.
  • Passion and desire to work with consumer products, with an in-depth knowledge across specialty, mass, and digital market products preferred.
  • Practiced and proven experience understanding global consumers and markets, building strategy and storytelling that flexes appropriately for the region.
  • Strong ability to communicate concepts and drive storytelling across the organization through digital, visual, and verbal presentation.
  • Proven experience managing complex, overlapping projects and programs with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Comfort working both strategically and tactically, adapting to the changing needs of a dynamic and growing business.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience Product Management/Merchandising roles with consumer goods brands
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing direct reports
  • Prior experience working directly with product management, sales, marketing, and design/creative departments.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator or InDesign, is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
