Purpose:
Sources and negotiates products and services for the enterprise with the goal of reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and increasing total value to the business. Lead the sourcing process from start to finish, beginning with identifying the opportunity through final contracting. Partners with leadership team on cost improvement strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Strategic Sourcing processes, procedures, and policies
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure their goals are met through the sourcing process
- Develop a strong working relationship with assigned stakeholders to create a pipeline of sourcing projects
- Create and manage the sourcing strategy for each project (RFI/RFP)
- Develop the negotiation strategy and lead the negotiation process for each project
- Work with the Analytics team to evaluate all proposals utilizing the Total Cost of Ownership methodology
- Lead a cross functional team through the sourcing process, made up of stakeholders, finance, legal, procurement, security, privacy, and others as needed
- Performs other relevant job duties as required
Job Requirements:
Education/ Experience/ combination of education training and experience:
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in similar positions
Knowledge:
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex agreements
- Strong negotiation strategy development skills
- Expert in the sourcing process – able to leverage experience and knowledge gained from a wide variety of projects
- Category level expertise in multiple indirect spend areas
- Thorough understanding of Total Cost of Ownership analytics and drivers
General Level of Work:
- Works with little to no direct supervision, able to plan workload to efficiently deliver required results
- Able to work independently and manage very complex projects and tasks
- Significant interaction with Senior Leadership, comfortable presenting to the C-Suite independently
- Able to mentor and help develop team members
- Holds others accountable for their deliverables
Impact of Decisions:
- Responsible for large and complex projects that significantly impact the organization
- Most projects are over $20M in annual spend, and can exceed $100M in total value
Knowledge of Business:
- Recognized as a leader and subject expert within the department and the company, provides input to overall department strategy and vision
- Understands how the department operates and how role creates value within the company, and can articulate it to all levels of the organization
- Exhibits high degree of business acumen and understanding of the Company’s operations
- Possess an in-depth understanding of budgeting, planning, and forecasting for expense and capital spend

- Pay Range: $90300.00 – $169100.00 Annually ($43.41 – $81.30 Hourly)
