We are hiring a Principal Product Manager – Tech to lead the Location Aware CX and ML (LLM included) powered delivery experience innovation in DEX Intelligent Platform. As the Product leader, you will drive the definition of the tech products, bringing teams from across the organization and around the globe together to define, build, and deliver on the programs’ vision, improve our store experience for customers, and drive resounding business impact.

The ideal candidate for this position has high customer obsession, strong influencing and engagement skills, the ability to dive deep and quickly get up to speed on a diverse set of technical and business challenges, and a successful track record of setting the vision for and driving large, Machine learning related initiatives to completion. You must be able to lead by influence and effectively collaborate with product, program, design, science and engineering teams. You are an excellent written and verbal communicator and can effectively communicate complex machine learning related ideas and information and drive decision-making. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting, are comfortable with ambiguity, and can effectively manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently while making data- and customer-driven decisions.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive the development of the strategy, roadmap, and business plan
• Be a passionate advocate for the customer; understand and articulate customer needs, leverage internal knowledge and expertise and external market research, and prioritize requirements
• Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring that vision to life
• Write requirements documents, help define use cases and CX, and own the business metrics and KPIs for your products and services
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

– Experience technical product management

– Experience interpreting and communicating analytics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
