Sponsorship & Sales Manager| Sandler Center for the Performing Arts

Overview

The Sponsorship & Sales Manager is responsible for developing sponsorship packages, coordinating all sponsorship initiatives and selling sponsorship opportunities for all of the Sandler Center’s programs including the Great Performance Series, Jazz Series, other in-house promoted series and events, and other opportunities. They will maintain relationships with these sponsors in order to increase revenue streams through other sources (bookings, tickets sales, etc). They will also assist in promoting the use of the meeting and function space in the Sandler Center.

This role will pay a salary of $40,000 to $50,000.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the development, maintenance and coordination of advertising/sponsorship opportunities.
  • Obtain and retain sponsorships from new and current sponsors.
  • Research potential sponsors and clients for sponsorships, playbill sales and building rentals.
  • Schedule appointments with potential sponsors and clients regularly and follow-up on a timely basis.
  • Follow up with appropriate staff to make sure all sponsorship contracts are fulfilled.
  • Promote the Sandler Center and its programs to all potential users and sponsors.
  • Develop sponsorship materials and presentations.
  • Maintain a detailed customer database of all clients and prospects.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of sales related collateral materials as they pertain to the corporate campaign.
  • Work and perform assigned event night responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work beyond normal business hours as required, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and select holidays.
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Corporate/sponsorship sales experience preferred.
